It depends on many factors, like, if you have a foreign degree or you have a professional degree like doctor, engineer or Chartered Accountant or even have done MBA from a reputed university then css might not be very attracted for you. However, if you are a simple graduate then css is attractive resort for
Secondly, it depends on once own preference and interest as well. If you have lust of power and authority, Css is a place where you can find it.
In my point of view, for a country like Pakistan CSS is better than any other field. A bureaucrat has direct involvement in policy making as well as he has great influence in society and among politicians.

When we compare between civil service and private sector, most of the times we ask about a choice between power and money. Indeed both are illusions and sooner or later we got to be disillusioned.

Yeah You are write.But don't one has to cope with other issues like corruption in these departments,Political Interference.One might not be able to perform his duty well.Moreover,one might be transferred to some other city.How d you think about these perspectives?
