Yes NOC is mandatory if you're already serving as Govt. employee.

PEEDA inquiry and DPC
 

if a government servant under clouds of PEEDA , having an inquiry and have a penalty over him/her or its application in appeal than the respective department allow that officer to take css exam..
in case not allowed DPC than can he/she give exam without NOC
please need guidance

If it's the matter of age limit, the DPC/NOC is mandatory to attach with admission form otherwise it can be submitted at the time of interview.

Any inquiry, showcase notice or pending appeal can be dealt even after selection but before departmental release. (as per known practices in departments under GOP/PEEDA).

If issuing authority is kind, it's not a big deal to take a NOC.

(just sharing my knowledge and would recommend to double check with any senior or your legal department).

I applied for FIA AD Investigation and passed the first test and now my name is included in list who will take further written test whose date is still not mentioned. I am a govt servant and still i didnt apply for NOC. Can i obtain NOC before interview?
