Is 'D' garde in any subject in Bachelor's allowed for eligibility for CSS test? seniors help plz ..

Yes, if in overall, succeeded to obtain Grade “C” in Bachelor .

Moreover, a candidate who has obtained a Third Division (or ‘D’ grade) in his/her Bachelor’s Degree will be eligible for the Examination in cases where he/she has obtained a higher Division in Master’s Degree.

does that mean that a person with a 2.4 CGP which is equal to C grade , is eligible for CSS ??

friends i have seen that most of candidates possess higher degrees, does degree matters a lot in interview or it has no place, do simple B.A degree holders have to face problems in interview? please answer the query and moderators please dont delete the post if i am posting it in wrong thread.

I scored 207 in my interview during the CE-2011 process. I only had a BA degree to my name back then.

I also know of two other people who only had BA degrees during their interviews and are currently serving as DMG/PAS officers.

No your degree has no effect on your interview. Interview is conducted to assess one's personality.
