Two things matter most to succeed in CSS which are as follows:

‘Planning’ is the first step towards success. Unplanned efforts bring unpredictable results, so you should develop detailed study plans which are strictly followed. Every student has daily targets to achieve. Thus the progress is quite visible and track-able. This clarity brings further motivation in students to strive further.

To succeed in CSS is possible only after having excellent command over English Language. More than 70% candidates fail in Essay or Précis & Composition papers. Yet, no CSS academy teaches English Language in the preparation classes. When a student can not write flawless English, how Essay-writing techniques or précis writing tips can benefit him/her or save him/her from failure.
All CSS aspirants must bear in mind that every grammatical error causes them to loose a mark. It is more than obvious that an otherwise great essay having only 40 grammatical errors can doom the fate of a candidate even if he/she has passed in rest of the papers.

agreed with your opinion...besides overcoming orthodox grammatic errors,one must master analytical writing skills.It reduces half of the burden of this exam...I would also appriciate efforts of the members to give their valueable suggestions to write analytical and error free English.

i am doing Charatered accountancy and i am confuse to choose Accounting and auditings as a optional subject or a punjabi and forestry as an optional.
plz guide me.

The only way to write flawless English is studying good literature and practising it's style in your own writings.

I am C.A inter,yet reluctant to opt for accouting. but on which ground you are going to chose forestry? you had better go for journalism.
