Default CSS Reforms in Selection Criteria

My Story Of CSS ....Muhammad farhan khan Abbasi
Merit No. 228
I started preparing for css in july 2009 and appeared in 2010 secured 599 marks and cleared all tewelve subjects but failed in aggrigate due to 1 mark. In second attempt i appeared and secured good marks in optional but unable to go through . In addition to this for my final attempt i left my job as Relationship Manager in a renowned bank.I sacrifised all of my personal family life , left my job , did hardwork and remained persiverant . The dawn of 2012 , 04 october brought a ray of hope when i came to know that i have cleared the written examination of 2012. Till that time i never joined any organization but adopted a sacred proffesion to teach and guide new asspirants of CSS and PMS . I am still doing this job with a hope that one day i'll be among the beaurocrates of Pakistan. The final anouncment of merit list brought me near to my destination. Now Allmighty Allah confured upon me another sacred duty to lead those who are hopeless and considering themselve in the darkness of defeat , it is my humble request to the President Of Pakistan , Prime Minister Of Pakistan and Chairman FPSC kindly get them all allocated because we 788 candidates have gone through all the steps of CSS , all of them are equaly eligible to serve in the Civil Services of Pakistan . At the end i may humbly request to all 788 candidates , senior beaurocrates , civil society , educators , thinkers , philosphers , policy makers and all those political leaders who consider that youth can change Pakistan and lead it from the front . Do attend peacefull protest at lahore in few days.
Best Regards Muhammad Farhan Khan Abbasi

Officer, it is sad to read your story and how much you sacrificed for CSS. But you are not alone, there are others who met the same fate.
In protesting for reforms please mention the CSS age limit and ask for 5 years general age relaxation because many cannot avail the CSS exam due to the age limit which is an ugly blot in the face of fpsc.
May you succeed in what you you are looking for.

My all sympathies are with you but if all 788 candidates are allocated from batch 2012 then what will be left for 2013 batch? That was your third attempt and you must have realized the spirit of competitive exams. At the end of the day it is fact that you did not carry the day. It must be harsh and bitter truth for you but you must accept the reality. We must think for others as well. I've gone through the same ordeal but a good fellow told me the reality which I am telling you. CSS is not end of the game there are numerous competitive exams which are awaiting your good self. You just have to avail the opportunity with same zeal and dedication which you had at the time of CSS Exams. This world is also beautiful other than CSS if you feel.

Best of luck.

Great sacrifice sir! You really deserve the civil service. I pray that you might et allocated. Yes, we are with you, go ahead, we will fully support you in your effort and will fully participate in the protest. It is injustice with those who clear all the steps of the CSS examination and do not get allocated. But on the other hand, politically-backed people easily get jobs/deputations in css cadres. I also request all the members to support this cause otherwise this may also happen to you in future.
