Well as far as css is concerned, yes it is a full time job. However, there are many people who qualified despite doing a full time job. It totally depends upon you. If you have confidence that you can manage it with your job, then you can continue with you job. But if you think that it is not mangeable for you, leave it then as you have yourself said that you can leave the job for 1 year, you should give css your full time.
