Default FPSC reforms

Lagta hai ap ko lagi nahi !

FPSC must mend his ways now !! it is enough now.

The protest should be against the flawed examination process and poor management of the whole process. Now the recruitment of officers need a fool proof, competition enhancing, and scientific methods of evaluation from first advertisement to the pre posting training.e.g in first advertisement the number of vacancies must be mentioned with quota and depts.
There should be a unifrom policy for marking the optional subject, and rationale method of "writing skills checking paper" (essay) evaluation like argumentative and issue essay. in gre the essays are checked on a fixed criterion. a person can guestimate his score just after the writing is end.
the policy which was good and enough for 1500 candidates is now outdated and deficient for 20000 candidates.85 marks in regional languages and 30-40 marks in other subjects. one need 15 day prep the other need months but in the end frustrations are the outcome of such unseen rules.

FPSC lacks efficient examiners that is the matter. Quality of MCQ and ambiguity in essay type question show prove my point.FPSC must think about question banks and professional paper setters. mostly the teachers of different public sector universities are employed for this task. The teacher in the social science departments of public sector universities of Pakistan are intellectually rejected bunch of oldies. The older the person are the priority of fpsc. The conservative approach of these paper checkers ruined the future of many aspirants
an integrated , synchronised approach is needed here are some random issues regarding this

600 marks condition is absurd with all MUST compulsory papers passing condition, a certain number of candidates should be called for interview without a limit of minimum marks,- uniformity in evaluation, recruitment of some other departments should be channeled through this exam - written part result should be declared in not later than three months maximum, the whole process must not take more than 8 months- the result of all candidates should be available to public (Like NTS GAT test) in order to ensure better transparency , rechecking of paper not only recounting should be allowed , checked papers should be available for candidates may be after paying some fees- logic, public policy tools, statistics ,public administration, governance nd democracy , such subject should be compulsory part of exam - no limit of chance(only in case if the exam is being taken on scientific basis) , and such many other reforms is the need of the hour.
The ideal is online MCQs type exam with instant result.
i am afraid if FPSC is not going to introduce some basic reforms in examination process and in managment , the capable efficient and intellectual youth would be diverted toward other better options. .
