Default use of colours in making diagrams

Aoa everyone,

I want to know if anyone has any concrete knowledge about how we are supposed to present diagrams and maps in papers? is there any hard and fast rule anywhere weather it is supposed to be in black and white or can we make a colored diagram as well?

Looking forward to your helpful replies.

Regards,
Amna.

Sub Section (xxi) of Section (12) of CE Rules 2014 says "Candidates must use blue or black ink only in their answer books otherwise zero marks may be awarded."

Default Thank you!

Dear Bilal Hassan,

Thank you for bringing these rules to my notice. However, it is a challenge to show maps adequately with just 2 colors But as the FPSC commands us!

Best Regards,
Amna Sharif.

You can use colored diagrams in Geography(red/blue/yellow) and EDS paper while in Current affairs paper draw maps by black pencil. Diagrams are very essential for GEO paper. Highlight these diagrams with a shade or color. It puits a postitve sign.

Default does that not put us up against the rules?

Dear Adeel,

Really appreciate your reply, but wont that be contradicting the rules which clearly state the usage of black and blue pens only? (personally, I love coloured diagrams.)

Best Regards.

In Geography paper, the better you highlight your diagrams with color the you can get marks. However, Only drawing with black pencil is enough. Moreover, we don't have much time during exam to beautify our diagrams with colors. USE PRIMARY COLORS if you have time otherwise put shades via pencil.
Rules are for writing not for pictures...

You can get notes on Psychology and Geography from me. I shall mail you these notes.
