Smile CSS 2016 Occupational Group selection for IT Professional
Hello Aspirants,

I have question regarding occupational group selection, i wanted to appear in CSS 2016. But i am confused to choose services/group which would be relevant to IT field.? As i am computer science graduate and have 2 years of experience in software development industry as well.

So which services/group you will recommend me so i would have bright chances of selection?

Your help would be highly appreciated. Thank You!

Your selection depends on your score in written exam and viva(interview). It has absolutely nothing to do with your educational background and experience. You can choose occupational groups based on your personal interests.

but will you please tell me how much should one score for MLCG?

For MLCG, one must be in top 50-60 to consider himself safe if he is having a Punjab domicile. I am not sure about marks range. Probably required marks would lie anywhere between 870 and 900.

Thank You Sir, but isn't it strange that one who don't know anything about accounting, commerce and other fields can opt them too?? Will they prefer any relevant experience or educational background in interview at least?

In form, is it compulsory to give options for all groups according to our preferences, like if I am enterested in four to five groups can I only give options for that four to five groups according to my preference??
