Default Is it legal to have two master degrees from same institution.

I have done M.sc economics(2013-15) from a university. Now i want to take admission M.A political science in same university in distance learning program. Are there any legal barriers in this issue.
I decided to do M.A pol science due to unpredictable attitude of pml(n) government regarding CSS exams. There are rumors in air that they might introduce cluster based exam. This can affect my career choice in civil services.

Yes, its legal to have "any" number of degrees from same institution as long as they are being done privately. You can't do two degrees at same time as regular.

You can do two degrees at same time, if there is not time clash.

The fact that they are giving you admission in it means its legal. However, the reason for taking admission is rather strange.
