Use of Urdu poetry in your answers
Dear friends, is it right to use Urdu poetry in p.a, c.a or islamiat (if attempted in english)?

Well you can use it according to a question being asked. But it's better to translate that stuff in English. If you really want to write poetry then it's better to translate it in English too. But for some papers it's better not to write poetry type things because it may distract examiner. So this thing comes with some risks.
Maybe if a question in hindi-urdu controversy is asked then you can put some poetry of that time. Thus poetry thing is present in trek to Pakistan where an author discussed hindi-urdu controversy. So you can use it but according to situation. And try to translate it too. But best thing is to write it in English to give an idea of a concept that you have taken from that Urdu poetry. For example you can write that Iqbal wanted young generation to realize importance of self discovery etc. Explaining things with poets name is better than plainly writing poetry.
