Ayaz Baluch is on a distinguished road
Default Css

Aoa, dear members I am currently doing my housejob and much confused about my future and career. Many seniors say being a doctor is not worth it in Pakistan, go for CSS or do plab/ usmle and go abroad but plab/mle is a long journey also I can’t leave my family. I never got supplee in mbbs, passed all proffs in 1st division but i’m an average student. Moreover, I don’t have much interest in medical so sometimes i feel CSS is a good career option but then comes the life and job of CSPs and i have heard it is 24/7 job and very stressfull be it FSP, PAS or PSP while I have seen consultants very relaxed , 2-3 days duty in week and rest they carry on with their private clinic. I am worrried if I opt for CSS I would regret once on field performing tough duties and public dealings, always on calls no Peace. Please if you could guide , is it like that or CSS life is real good if one passes.
I don’t have interest in medicine or surgery and feel like opting radiology or pathology if went for fcps as they have work life balance and no emergencies or hectic duties (if didn’t go for CSS)
Please if seniors and consultant could guide and counsel what should I go for. JazakAllah.
