Read quality books, watch English movies and then practice. Language is always piece of cake if you practice it.

Falling in love with someone who is fluent in English has always worked. lol
Best possible results can be attained by reading Dawn, Express Tribune, online articles and writing diary on a regular basis.

(To be honest, Home Alone and Matilda are the only English movies I've watched in my life. In my opinion, Angrezi songs and movies don't really contribute in improving writing skills)

Maria's suggestion seems effective "To improve one's English one has to fall in love with someone fluent in it.

Purchase good and standard books for Grammar. First be Familiar with the rules and principles of the language you are going to learn. For Vocab, follow the suggestion that Maria has given, i.e Read English newspapers esp. Dawn, and jot down difficult words in your notebook. Moreover, read short stories, atricles, etc. That's it.
