Default How to pass composition paper?

Many candidates failed in this subject, so I want to know which strategy works to pass this subject. Please suggest me a workable strategy? Is it purly cramming or strong compostion. But I saw many candidates who were good at English literature but failed in compostion.

dear
there is no proper strategy for passing this exam.No body knows what is the exact criteria for getting through.I know some candidates with poor grammatical skills securing 40 plus marks while sufferings for those who excel in english.
Even aspirants who have degrees in english literature often face the failure.
I failed in this exam twice securing 35 and 38 marks in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
Considering this scenario i can suggest the following strategy that might be plausible and workable:
1.Cramming GAT words either through mobile apps or hardcopy which includes 1500 plus words.
2.Extensive preci practice that must be checked by teacher or aspirants here on css forum. For this buying a book would be helpful and a collection of editorials and columns in dawn and other papers.
3.1970 till 2014 pair of words cramming.
4.cramming of idioms through Mcmordie book or any good book having atleast 700 idioms.
5.Short essay practice which are easily available on internet.Say "rome was not built in a day" has been widely discussed and written and is available on may websites.
6.Correction practice through discussion with friends and learning the basics {no harm to the ego} of english such as noun, verb etc.
7.Comprehension practice via examples in internet and english grammar books.
Still there is little chance of excellence......an irony.....
Hope this works....
