Question Guidance regarding optional subjects

i have opted following subjects

International Relations
Environmental Science
Islamic history and culture
Town planning and urban management
criminology



Note: i have engineering background.

Is this right choice or should i reconsider it???

I have a perception that new courses would be good scoring subjects as not many people will go for it but at the same time risky as well.

Have you studied Town planning in your enginering ? how easy is to cover the course without background knowledge
