AOA all
i am just getting started here and don't know nothing about CSS other than its abbreviation
when i went to CSS website it says some are compulsory subjects given under subjects handing in first group

then there are several groups like A, B , C ...
and it says you can choose optional subjects of 600 marks after or before each group

my question is
Are these 600 marks optional subjects to be chosen only from one group or all of the groups , i mean its confusing for me since i don't know ABC of CSS so please guide me in this regard
an example of choosing subjects would be suffice or anyway you can make me understand the selection of subjects

Look dear , you can only select a subject of 200 marks or a subject of 100 marks from each group .My optionals are
Physics 200 marks
Pashto 100 marks
USA history 100 marks
Criminology 100 marks
Gender studies 1oo marks
total = 600 marks

If still ,you have any doubt .i would suggest to download the syllabus of CSS from FPSC website .Everything is there ..

i understood it comfortably after rechecking ,
but as you said i am broken at the moment
i have choose
business administration 100
international relations 100
Indo Pak History 200

and i am not sure from which subjects to get remaining 200 marks
i have studied accounting and auditing but not with not great conceptual gain
so i have chosen Business administration
but it drops 100 marks

and still no clue of other 100 marks

any suggestions
my Urdu writing is great but my knowledge of Urdu is close to Pathetic , but i have read few books but most of them kind of novels, so should i choose Urdu for these 100 marks

but but but

i am not gonna choose accounting over business administration so still leaves 100 marks

i am skewered here

What went wrong with you?
Do you know" international relations" comprises of 200 marks. So by 100more you're perfectly squared.
I hope it will work.

but i rechecked it and it says IR is of 100 marks

i have chosen statistics 100 marks
so if IR is 200 marks i am settled
otherwise i would require to choose from other subjects like languages...

As per new Grouping IR contain 200 marks

Dear you can check new subject grouping by searching directly from Google . Just type CSS subjects 2016. Hope it will work

according to new scheme again i have lost 100 marks
indo pak history is now of 100 marks
so i am again nailed
any suggestions of subjects i can prepare from following choices
geography
forestry
criminology

or any other marks gaining subject
