Default Guidance Required

Asalm-u-Alaikum Everyone!!!!!!
I am currently doing BS in Electrical Engineering. My degree span prolonged a bit because of unexpected vacations due to security reasons so InshAllah will complete the degree in coming November with Gold Medal. Thus, wouldn't be able to take test in 2017 and will appear InshAllah in 2018. Dramatically, I have got a lot of time for preparation. THE QUESTION IS HOW TO INITIALIZE AND IN WHICH DIRECTION? The main subject; related to my field, offered in CSS is PHYSICS.
QUESTIONS ARE:
1. I am good in physics n also have interest in it but have heard that it is not "good scoring subject". Is it so? Should i take it or not???
2. Rest of Optionals selected by me are:
Political Science (because it will support C.A and P.A)
Sociology (Because it is related to Pol. Sci)
Gender Studies (Because it is high scoring and i have interest in it)
Is it ok or any good suggestions?
3. I am punjabi but unfortunately not proficient in punjabi. I have heard it is high scoring should i take it?
4. Should I take Islamic or international law? Or any course from history?
5. Should i start preparation by myself or join academy?
MY QUALITIES ARE:
I am hardworking, enthusiastic, focused and ambitious.
I am not good in memorizing things but can grasp concepts and reproduce it in my own words.
Thanks for hearing a lot from my side...
Waiting anxiously for guidance.
