Default Subject selection help needed

Hello everyone
I am planning to sit for the CE 2017. I have about 6 months to prepare. I am a doctor and a government servant. I have to decide one optional from town planning &Urban management, gender studies and criminology, the rest are decided. Can the seniors kindly guide me and point out their pros and cons based on their experience and knowledge?

I am not an authority over this but I think you should go for Gender Studies. I have prepared both GS & criminology; while the former is concise and lucid, the latter extensive and tedious. And as far as town planning is concerned, it is too technical a subject to be opted by a doctor. Even though I am a civil engineer, i had to skip it

Hi , good luck with your subject selection.
Everyone I'm new to this forum . Can you all please kindly help me . I want to appear in the CSS exams 2017. I'm short on time , but want to give it my full effort in about these 6 months and give it my best possible shot. I come from an O and A level background , and have graduated with an external LLB degree from university of London with a 2:1
Can you please help me in my optional subjects ? What would be a good combination ? High scoring subjects etc?
I was thinking Muslim law ( as I received a distinction in my LLB exams with Islamic law)
Gender studies
International relations
Sociology
History of USA
Also what is your opinion about public administration, business administration and forestry?
Would highly appreciate all the knowledge and help that I could receive . I'm highly grateful for everyone's time. Thanks
Would highly appreciate all the kno

yes you should go for muslim law /int..law /constitutional law ..intead of sociolgy.. skip sociolgy musliam law or int..law as internation relation and int.law are quite overlapping rest are good ..just strt prepration

forestory agricltre.. is very easy subject .. scoring too.. but it has very lengthy salybus .. gender studies will be the better option

AizaKhan22 i will suggest you international law
Muslim law is easy but the syllabus is lengthy it include Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic personal law but its up to you if you think you can do it then its OK
