IR is one tough subject but i have seen people who opted this subject instead of being master in political science, economics and accounting. What could be the reason for this

International relations 200- Excellent choice
International Law 100- Excellent choice no need to change.
Punjabi 100-Excellent choice

P. Admin was very scoring subject in the past but after change of syllabus it is not. Even selected CSP's of CE-16 have not scored well in this. I have not seen any one scoring above 60 in Ce-16 exam. So, reconsider this option of your but if you think you can tackle it excellently go for it.

About last 100 marks subject. You want to choose between gender studies or Indo Pak history. Well my advice is to to choose US history. It is highly recommended for students who have IR and IL as their optional subjects as they all kind of compliment each other. It is scoring as well.
If you still want to choose between GS and Indo-Pak History, go for Indo-Pak History. It will help you in Pakistan Affairs to some extent. It is not very high scoring subject but it is not low scoring either. It is also a nice choice.

Now in case you decide to change public administration as optional subject, My advice is to go for Environmental science. It is very high scoring as per CE-16 result. Also it will help you in subject of GS&A.

Suggestion: Do not blindly choose your optional subjects just by scoring trend. Your education background and interest in particular subject also matters. I suggest you go through syllabus of all subjects you are interested in and also of those which I have suggested and then make your choice wisely and rationally as subject selection is the most important decision when it comes to CSS.

IR and gender studies are the best.

As for as indopak history is concerned, I think US history is much easier and shorter than indopak.
I request you not to opt town planning unless you have done master in it, because a large number of students failed in this subject in CE 2016, I got 13 marks in it, the lowest marks I have ever grabbed in my life

Hello every body. I can not start a new thread that is why I am posting it here.
My optional subjects are
1- IR
2- Business administration
3- Gender studies
4- Criminology
5- Islamic history/ Public administration

I have done Bachelor's in Accounts from Australia, Sydney and B.com From K.U Pakistan. If anybody wants to coordinate regarding optional subjects it'll be highly appreciated, as I am seeking a serious aspirants group with whom I can prepare for CSS 2018.
