@Sidra

I will suggest you to go for sociology .Its more easy and more scoring than I.R.
And yes indo pak history is also a reliable and easy subject.I will not say tht this is much scoring but in 2009 Indo pak history sets a new record of 180 plus marks .So i will recommend you to go for indo pak as well.

And if you need help in these subject do let me know..It will be my pleasure.

First look at the the past all question papers of sociology.

Click on this link:

http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-optio...st-papers.html

Now,analyse the paper of sociology-2010.

My opinion:
I had both the subjects in my CSS-2010 attempt.
I had given equal time to both the subjects.
I am satisfy from the paper of sociology because this paper is always scoring and general.

Now,IR is always too much time taking and have to give time most of the current issues.

My experience:
IR was 50% difficult for me.I am not as much satisfy as in sociology.

You can analyse the past papers on this link:
http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-optio...st-papers.html

Another favouring point of sociology is that it has given more score than IR in previous years.
To check highest score click on this link:
http://www.cssforum.com.pk/beginners...ighlight=score

First analyse the past question papers Indopak History and Muslim History.

For Indopak History past papers click here:

http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-optio...st-papers.html

For Muslim History past papers click here:
http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-optio...st-papers.html

Indo-pak History was also my optional subject.

Paper-I was challenging as well as its MCQs.
Paper-II was normal.
But the paper of Muslim history was easier than this.

sociology is far easier than IR. But both are low scoring subjects .however, foreign publications can help alot, as they give a very delicate touch of language to our ordinary thought even. IR is very dominating and p[owerful subject , we should think twice and thrice before opting for it. regards
