Smile Indo-Pak History Or Islamic History

I m a little bit perplexed regarding my optional subjects . Which of these two would u suggest - Indo-Pak or Muslim History. I don't have any background in any of the two. Which one is easy to cover and scoring as well?

Regards

I agree with miss indo pak is a better option since islamiat paper is generally relevant to current affairs!

The syllabus of Indian History is not so long if compared to Islamic History which has a long list of topics and periods.
If you feel yourself easy with Indian History go with that otherwise Islamic History subject is ,no doubt, lengthy but an interesting subject.

Go with Islamic History if you are good in memorizing the dates, names of Muslim companions and you think that you are having a good judgment ability to judge the things well because Islamic History and culture needs a good judgment ability as compared to the Indian History.

I am deeply thankful to all of u for replying my query. The plus and minus points that I have found in both the subjects are as under:-

(A) Indo-Pak:

+ Points:
1. Its Paper 2's syllabus is almost same to that of Pak Affair's.
2. Its syllabus is sufficiently short than that of the Muslim History.

- Points:
1. Some times this subjects prove to be destructive because of its low scoring tendencies.
2. There are too much dates in this subject. The rulers have fought time and again like dogs and cats, So remembering these dates are a bit challenge, sepecially for me because my memory has always deceived me.
3. Approximately 70% (according to my Observation) opt this subject so there is a great competition in this subject. One will have to perform extraordinarily to amass score in this subject, I believe.

B. Islamic History & Culture
+ Points:
1. Being a Muslim, I have a little bit familiarity with this subject
2. It is very interesting because it provides knowledge of Islam.
3. It is very helpful for General Knowledge. Not only in CSS but also in every test, whether federal or provincial, contains a good number of questions from Muslims History.
4. in CSS 2009 this subject proved to be blessing for the candidates. Even those who failed in all the other 10 subjects sought 120 score in this subject. So this can ratified as a scoring subject.
5. Questions repeat frequently.

- Points:-
1. This is a very lengthy subject. Its Lengthiness has dishearted me.
2. In 2010 it did not give good score to the candidates.

So far these are the findings of me. What are your opinions. Though I am still undecided which to opt but my choice is leaned towards Muslim History.
