Assalam-u-alaikum,
I am in last semester of Telecom engineering in NUST. I choose computer science (200), physics (200), Islamic history (100) and Criminology (100).
We engineers have very little knowledge except science. I am familiar with only computer science and physics. I know half syllabus of both subjects.
Kindly guide me for selection of subjects.

You are picking up two science subjects, then make sure that you are good at them. I don't know how much a telecom engineer is familiar with the computer science but I tell you that the syllabus of CS subject is covering almost an entire comp. science, it touches almost everything which we study in CS. As you are a telecom engineer so I'd recommend you to opt CS, because engineers are good at learning and understanding science.

Criminology is a newly added subject, but you'll have an idea of what comes in paper just after this CE-16 ends. If you find it interesting and are able to find books, or other resources to study, then opt it.

As far as history subject is concerned, you'll see different opinions on the forum. You must thoroughly read the suggestions on the forum in order to have an idea about every history subject of group-4, then decide. Marks of History of USA have been same before and after revision in syllabus & regrouping of subjects, but other 4 history subjects' marks have been changed to 100 from 200. Just wait unless exam is conducted, then select subjects wisely and accordingly.

CS and Physics are good choices but don't opt for criminology, instead choose a language subject
