This post is for the ones having difficulty in reading articles or any other piece of writing containing difficult words.
Learning English is an art. And reading and understanding can be made a lot easier if you know the tricks of the trade.
I have been teaching English Grammar and Literature for the last 7 years and have something useful to share.
You will be surprised to know that the real English words are merely 50 % while the remaining are composed with the addition of either a prefix ( the word that is written before the original word. e.g. un, in, im, etc.) and suffix ( the word that is written after the original word. e.g. less, ale, ily, etc.)
The main thing you need to learn is the root word which gives birth to numerous words.
For instance, the word "vid" generally refers to "view". If you know this thing then you can easily understand meanings of the words you have never heard or read before. e.g. video. vision, visual. evidence. and many more such words which will give you the sense of the word.
I repeatedly quote that half of the words for better understandings of English are merely a guess work which you can learn by knowing the word etymology.
So for the quick reading of editorial, make use of guess-work by using common sense and etymology.
Regards,
Ainuddin Kibzai.

Slice Of Advice For New CSS Aspirants.
My slice of advice might look irrational to some but its quite useful especially in last 3 months.
on daily basis, for 2 to 3 hours, select paragraphs from the newspapers and read the paragraphs one by one and write their crux.
For example, read one paragraph and then quickly and precisely write it down whatever you were able to gain.
Your writing practice will immensely improve + ur expression will be polished + u will be able to write precisely and up to the point in exams + your memory will be sharpened.
Regards,
Ainuddin Kibzai.

well being very straight I think before anything else what im in need of is phsycological assistance..:-|actually my problem is that i didnt even thought for a sec that i could fail. I was confident (or over confident) for my success. Passing this exam for me was like no big deal because i worked very hard and i believed that by hardwork anything could be done.. But as i shared my dms' i got poor result. i quote it 0%.. It was like climbing the mount everest and falling from the peak.. Now when im looking up again it seems too high to climb... First of all, I need help to let me clear myself that shall I do it again or Im on wrong path... I know no1 could predict the future but the capabilities could be judged...

moreover, its true im getting best advices from the lecturer Ainuddin' and im very thankful for that' i think if i had these advices before may i would have done better...;-(
