Smile CSS - An Additional Interpretation and some generic tips

Assalam.o.alaikum dear aspirants. Well I have termed this Post as “Additional interpretation and some generic tips”, because tips and tricks that are already shared on this forum are enough to let you shine in the examination. To name afew Arifullah, usman Khalid, , m ali asghar, amna rafique(mano g), usman javed ( mani) , hamza salik, dr.noor ul ain, cont..i would rather say that if you are following any one of these ,you don’t even need to go through this thread, because that’s enough.

CSS - An exclusive examination that will earn you a maximum prestige and satisfaction.Limited circles of public (obviously not because of their dignity but due to the nature of business) bother about the secretary or DPO or an ambassador, as getting admission is always much charming than studying ,…. But a large number of forthcoming aspirants , qualified CSPs and a large domain of your affiliations are interested in this particular exam. one should really take it seriously if he/she is in the competition.well another misconception.candidates took it as mutual competition however it is an exclusive competition with one own self. Just put your best and leave the rest.

Generic tips:

A. First of all get a real and sincere guide/teacher instead of electronic one CSS forum is indeed the only platform that provides a great diversity i.e. it is great when it comes to basic guidelines,book-names,datas,facts etc. but to be honest nobody(able and sincere) is going to check your each and every query and home-work, providing you notes, streamlining you time and again.

B. In most of the cases CSS is all about your energy “OR” experience.one is more energetic in his/her first attempt but most experienced in succeeding ones.so its upto an individual (obviously Allah’s assistance is above all) to get his desired group with zeal or experience.

C. “Uncertainity is the essence of CSS”. If you can,put everything on-stake …but don’t forget it’s a gamble after all. Shock is necessarily there whether its on the positive side or the negative.

D. There are two kind of individuals ,more often, in allocation.one who is humble to Allah and modest in his approach.the other one is humble to Almighty but outward in his approach.Be humble to Almighty…that will boost your confidence and make you lcuky

F. Respect your parents. Mother always prays for you..Try to get the prayers of your father (very potent in manipulating your luck).Indeed offer your prayers regularly(for the rest of your life as well) and gather as much prayers as one’s ethics allow.

G. Compile every subject, compile it on your books, separate papers… so that you can effectively put up in the papers.

H. Don’t believe any one, come up with your own ideas and logic ..that will help you improvise.

I. Work hard not hardly

J. “Slow and steady wins the race”…well be steady but don’t be slow.consistency is the key to overcome poor memory, bad expression and below-average academic background.

K. CSS would rather take an average of 4-8 months. However if one is good in any particular subject or expression ,time span would certainly be reduced.

L. Never trust your subjects generally and compulsory in particularly for high scores because you never know when it ditches you.

M. You are going to be a bureaucrat, so be it and don’t be a politician. One should refer to the existing rules and constitution clauses instead of giving vague answers lagging credibility. Moreover, issues pertaining to state would come and not that of political parties.
To my Understanding, you may disagree: There should be a “State”,”Democracy”,”Dictatorship” and “Good-Bad governance” in your analysis. You shouldn’t be appeasing your prejudiced approach and victimize or praise any particular individual or political party.

N. There are two approaches:
1. Master those areas in which an individual is good at.
2. Work on your area of weakness.

There is a third area as well which is amalgam of both.that is a mid-way approach.Exclusive 1st approach would be disasterous as weakness would make you vulnerable to failure and exclusive 2nd approach would throw you out of allocation.

Subject selection:- be very prudent in the selection, so that you won’t be blaming low-scoring/high-scoring trends in the end. These are petty excuses. obviously the trend is there at least don’t victimize yourself intentionally. high scoring would definitely be demanding more work and more compilation. One should take into account afew things:
1. Educational background
2. Personal inclination.
3. Proper guidance/guide regarding a particular subject.

1. Compulsory:

a. Essay and English Composition:-

I am honored to get instructions from Sir Agha Mohsin Ali. He is superb in his approach. we mostly lack expression in graduation/masters due to the nature of our study.
Essay is a continuation of composition. To begin with comprehension is starter( basic grammar mistakes are omitted), précis is somewhat middle (one gets to know how to rewrite an article) and expansion is the expert level (improvisation is done here i.e. 250 words on a single line usually). once you are able to manipulate a line into 250 words then essay would be no big deal.
Write a clean and composed outline and manipulate it into 2500 hundred words easily. How simple! (in reality its not that simple.one needs to get his “REGULAR tasks” checked by an expert CSS English teacher (not from money making academies) .Try to be consistent

b. Current Affairs:-
Compile major issues in the form of newspaper cuttings. write important and relevant facts and figures.normally issues three months prior to examinations won’t come in the paper however observe important developments in the already compiled issues. To quote one such example arab spring in late dec ’10 and early januar’11 didn’t come in CE-11.However latest developments in old issues would help you to make more appropriate analysis.

c. Pakistan Affairs:-
There are typically five six zones where questions normally come from (there is no hard and fast rule though).A question from pre war of independence, a question regarding role of indigenous personality from 1856-1947, a question regarding major movements(Ali garh, nadvatul.ulema deoband etc), a question regarding post partition challenges (be it nascent state, constitution making or martial laws ), questions from post 9/11 scenarios, questions pertaining to any crisis (recent).

d. EDS:-
Get solved papers of past 25 years.do the objectives first conceptually.then mark the most repeated questions and compile it.give priority to the most repeated.do as much as you can.but don’t make it too cumbersome to handle it.

e. Islamiat:-
First step is to determine the medium in which you are going to attempt the paper. First of all prepare faith(tauheed,risalat.etc)..then pillars of islam(namaz,roza,haj)..then basic systems of islam with prevailing nomenclatures of Islamic models(social(women rights, minority rights etc),political, economic system, judicial system )..then current muslim world challenges and their solutions.

N.B: Disentangle yourself from sectarian biasness or political prejudices rather try to present a broader picture without hurting any one. Moreover questions won't be requiring you to put some aggressive stance except for that you may drag yourself into it.Be optimistic in general.

Credits:Its never a success of an individual rather many factors and people contribute towards it,But Focus is you ,except for Allah wills May Allah bless you.
