does const. law give less scores?
since 2 years,it has been experienced that const. law is less scorer then other subjects e.g journalism, sociology .etc; is it right? or its just rumours..
n those our fellows who chose this subject r requested to give thier opinion regarding this issue; as its very much fablling n confusing the new candidates; n those who opted fro law 200 , r requested to shed light on how to prepare such bulky stuff (surely opting it r lawyers) |

Hi hope you are doing fine. It is true that the scroing trend of constitutional Law has been on the lower side for the last two years. The average score has ranged between 45-55. But some students have managed to bag 65 in it. If you go through the FPSC report they have mentioned that the reason behind this is lack of preparation and rote learning. Most of us usually go the easy way. There are few books available in the market and all the students are producing the same material.so when the answers get motonous the score in bound to fall. Having said this constitutional law is an easy subject. It can be easily prepared and if you answer the questions asked analytically and comprehensively you will score well. Sociology and Journalism have shown a better trend.Students have scored frequently in 70's and some even in the 80's. So its totally upto you.Go through the books and relevant material. The stuff with which you feel you are more comfortable go for it. Best of luck Regards

constitutional law has been quite low scoring for the last three years actually, starting with the year 2006. I scored 65 on my first attempt, but in the subsequent attempts i have scored much lower than that. I had a friend though who scored 80 in 2006, while all the rest of us scored in the forties. then in 2007 the scores went even lower.
I know a friend of mine who has an LLB but has failed in this years paper. my own thinking is that too many people were taking constitutional law and that was part of the reason the FPSC took the step to change the trend. we have seen that from time to time FPSC does that to discourage people from taking the same kind of subjects. and usually people say that they do it for three years. since the three years are done, I'd expect better scores in 2009 in this particular subject. though nothing could be said for sure.
