Default My experience in CSA

Assalamullaikum
I am back well it is been a long time since I last connected. It has been hectic for me. However, now the routine is easy to follow. We ( the commoners)are through with the first term.
My experience has been a joy ride. I met a lot new people and clearly there was intimacy amongst us.
I made a lot new friend and had a unique experience which was not possible else where.
Lahore is Lahore indeed. Full of color, vigor and life the city is, and exuberance of life is flowing through laborites.
Lahore is an amalgam of mixed culture. Gujars are here , jats are here Well I never thought I ll be meeting so many Punjabis in my life and would be living with them ( Majority of CSPs ,as we all know are Punjabis ) Then there are pushtuns , Pakhtuns ( Afridis , Mehsuds and Wazir ) and other natives of Afghania. There are few balochis and sindhis too.

Well I am most fortunate to be here (As you all KNOW how LUCKY I AM) . Thanks to Almighty, who is most benevolent, generous and forgiving. He has provided me the life long opportunity to BE A CSP. Yes I AM A CSP. I am now belonging to an elite cadre and inheritor of all the prestigious tradition which many distinguished CSP have left in CSA. Perveen Shakir , how she lived her days in CSA ( WOW) and interesting legends of many other.
Well I have my own point of view and it is odd( As usual). In my opinion we are given a training which is not inculcating in us the essential of a public servant. Until now there is no due emphasis on character building and imbibing the essence of service in us. Would you believe we are given a full two hour presentation on how to properly dine and how to behave properly in the dining hall. The emphasis was again the old British aristocratic style of eating (A tradition not even followed by the British. Remember Sara and Diana) But there is even not a half hearted try to teach us how to behave with the common man. Yeah surprised the way to deal with the common man is not taught to commoners’ in Common training program. I have witnessed a false sense of pride amongst my batch mates. The brown man mentality is infecting many of us and there is attempt on part of our trainers to alleviate us from this curse. But it could be only me May I am too common

However another interesting phenomenon is the merging of different cultures and sharing of different ideas and experiences. I am now kind of eye witness of happenings in different parts of country .
I have heard many accounts of happenings in revenue department I heard what is going on in Fata and also the sad chronicle of Baluchistan. A vicarious experience for me indeed. It is only possible in CSA.
It is fascinating to see, so many representatives of various ethnicities sharing their life experiences to each other. Every one of them has his own case studies. So many colors Pakistan has, showing a much vitiated country. Thus again thanks to Allah and then FPSC for bestowing upon me this blessing to be in CSA (Other wise I cannot think of another better opportunity else where) So I ll be writing again sharing my fare in the MOST elite, prestigious , devoted and inspirational cadre

Until then Adios
