Default Some questions regarding the current scenario of FSP.

Here are some questions which require answers from serving officers.
1. What is salary package currently offered to FSP officers during CTP & STP?
2. Is an officer provided with a single room during STP or he has to share?
3. What is the time period between STP and FPOE?
4. When officers go to Netherland for course?
5. How much time has an officer to serve in HQ before leaving for Language course? And what is the current package, i.e. salary and accommodation, provided?
6. After language course, how much time an officer spends at HQ before getting first foreign posting?
7. If an officer has the passion for visiting the world, can he do this with the diplomatic passport or he needs the national passport?

Default

1. Salary Package of all officers is same during CTP & STP i.e 32,000. (Only PSPs get better salaries during STP since they get salary from provinces during STP )

2. Single Room during STP in FSA

3. It depends..usually 2-3 months after STP.

4. Only Top 10 in seniority after STP go to Netherlands, others go to Turkey and China.

5. (a) After clearing FPOE, officers go for language course. Clearing FPOE is mandatory for it.
(b) In Pakistan: salary is according to govt.pay scales i.e approx 34-35,000 in BS 17 (all CSP officers from different services have same pay scales)
Abroad: Salary is 3000 $ (3 Lac rupees, which is sufficient provided with free housing, free medical, free best schooling for Kids)
(c) Accomodation: In Pak: Single Room
Abroad: Fully furnished apartment in posh areas of capitals

6. It depends, usually 2-3 years. First posted, you remain posted for 3 years aborad and 1& half year in Pakistan at desk. Afterwards, every time, 6 years abroad (3,3 years in 2 countries) and 1 & half year in Pakistan in HQ.

7. When you have Red Passport, the whole world is open for you. You visit so many countries that one gets tired. If you are posted in Spain, on weekends you can travel to Portugal, Italy, France etc,etc but on your own expense of course. You also travel alot for official purposes.
