Default Preferred posting in Islamabad
I have been allocated in FSP in CSS 2013 , I want to ask , if its possible to be preferably posted in Islamabad ? Although its said that all the attractions in FSP are abroad , but can it be possible that someone gets posting in Islamabad most of the time ?

As far as I know common practice is one year in Isb for every few years abroad ... But if you have contacts you can prolong this one year by few more months maybe but after all you will have to be posted abroad

yes if you have a proper reason to convince the administration, you can stay in Pakistan. Like some of our officers never availed foreign posting. (by they are only 1% of the total cadre).
