Gilani promotes 29 officers to grade 22

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Monday elevated 29 officers of BS-21 to the post of secretary and equivalent (BS-22). Those who have been elevated include five of the Police Service of Pakistan, one of the Foreign Service of Pakistan, two of the Custom and Excise Group and 21 of the Secretariat Group. The PM approved the promotions on the recommendations of the high powered selection board. Earlier in the day, the board met under the chairmanship of the PM. The cases of all eligible officers were placed before the board for consideration, which recommended 29 officers for promotion to the post of secretary (BS-22) and equivalent. The board noted that all the eligible BS-21 regular officers of the Secretariat Group had been considered and stand promoted to BS-22. Those who were promoted in BS-22 include Fiaz Ahmed Khan, Javed Iqbal, Dr Waseem Kausar, Tariq Saleem and Javed Noor of the Police Service of Pakistan. Masood Khalid belongs to the Foreign Service of Pakistan while Muhammad Ramzan and Mehmood Alam are from Customs and Excise Group. The officers who have been promoted from the Secretariat Group include Ahmed Mahmood Zahid, Batool Iqbal Qureshi, Abdul Wajid Rana, Ghulam Dastgir Akhtar, Sohail Ahmed, Muhammad Sami Saeed, Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar, Attaullah Khan, Javed Aslam, Kazi Afaq Hussain, Muhammad Arif Azim, Imtiaz Inayat Elahi, Javed Mahmood, Anwar Ahmad Khan, Ghulam Ali Shah, Ahmed Bakhsh Lehri, Nargis Sethi, Amjad Ali Khan, Mohammad Ejaz Chaudhry, Khalid M Naeem and Agha Sarwar Raza Qazilbash. staff report

Now the majority of officers mentioned in SG are from DMG but later on joined SG.

District Management Group or DMG, is an elite cadre of the Civil Service of Pakistan.
Officers in this group are recruited through a competitive examination held once a year by the Federal Public Service Commission[1] of Pakistan. Those selected for this group have to undergo a two-year training programme at the Civil Services Academy (CSA) in Lahore, Pakistan.
The Indian Civil Service (ICS)—predecessor of the Civil Service of Pakistan and District Management Group—was established by the British to bolster the British Raj. After Indian independence, the ICS component ceded to Pakistan was renamed the Pakistan Administrative Service. Later it was named the Civil Service of Pakistan. In 1954, an agreement was reached between the Governor General of Pakistan and the governors of the provinces to constitute an All-Pakistan service. Under administrative reforms of 1973, the name of Civil Service of Pakistan was changed to All-Pakistan Unified Group (APUG) of which the DMG and Police Service of Pakistan are now major components.

hahaha

Janab 17000 kis ki salary he.

The salary of BPS-17 officers hover around 35000 per month and most are single at that time.

17000 is the salary in CTP where food and accommodation is provided free.

Now coming to the point.UK mein burger shop mein pocha marne say behtar hey kay mein apnay mulq mein bokha mar jao.

Some people have glaring misconceptions.to be corrupt or not to be is a choice and in my opinion majority wants to be honest.but to blame CSPs for corruption is unjustified because they are 0.02 % of the Government Employees.
