Civil judge jail se bahir nilkelva sakta hai mager ASP jail k ander dal sakta hai.
Judge nikelvanay mein saalon ki paishiyan lgva deta hai aur ASP chand lamhon mein ander phinkva deta hai...tou kon hua Authoritative?G han ap ka javab darust hai;ASP..

Every Service has its own scops and merits as well..
lets take a stoke of Judiciary..
1. Need LLB Degree and at-least two years practice in order to appear in Judicial competition.
2. Reasonable salaries.
3. Provincial limitation benefit (Officer may not be through out of province)
4. In-hand power.
5. But long promotion time span.

Now proceed towards Civil Superior Service..
1. Need Only graduation to be appeared in exams.
2. Salaries are generally inappropriate, also depend on serving post.
3. A CSP may be posted any where, through-out the Pakistan.
4. More authorities are been possessed by them as compared to Judiciary.
5. A CSP ascertains the post of B.S 20 after 23 App. service, also depend on the Group or service e.g. DMG,PSP,FSP,CTG.

Default Asp vs. Civil judge

@ Pakibo
As far as the current scenario is concerned, devolution plan and the subsequent changes in the CrPC have made Civil Judge far more powerful than an ASP. Now, Civil Judge combines the power of Executive Magistrate as well as of the erstwhile "Family Judge" of pre-devolution era. Ask from any judge or a senior lawyer and he will tell you that there is no comparison between the legal powers of a Civil Judge and an ASP, the former can even curb the salary of CCPO (Additional IG).
Now come to the other side of the picture, the facet of perks, privileges and promotions, here ASP out-paces even the Additional Sessions Judge.
If you want legal power and huge salary combined with independence then go to Judiciary otherwise if you want raw power then there is no match of Pakistan Police
