Default Question regarding promotion in Punjab Police
A.O.A...
Sir i have a question regarding promotions in
punjab police.i want to know that can a simple
officer like ASI get a fast promotion without any
''sifarish'' or links?
is there any criteria of their rapid promotions by
promotion exams?? please answer.

No in police department ASI and others are promoted according to seniority list but if any police officer do some special work or do some special achievment IG police have power to promote him it is called accelerate promotion but its not permanent it can be taken by DIG or IG Police
