I think that parliamentary system is more suitable to us as compared to presidential system. Because our country has a heterogeneous multi culture population. And we need a system which can give power to all. There are several spheres of power. Presidential system cannot meet this aspiration. So a bilateral legislative parliamentary system is best for us. Failure of democracy can be traced in our incapable educational system, Lacking publicly aware intelligentsia and a stagnant social structure knitted in orthodox Islamic and tribal fabric.
Regards

Arrow Parliamentary or presidential form?????

As for as i m concerned of the topic i would like to add that parliamentary form of govt is the best form of govt as compare to the presidential form.becoz it has many merits as
1:- begots says,,,, it is a hypen that joins a buckle and fastens the legislative part of the state to the executive part of the state.
2:-it is also responsible form of govt.
3:-it is elastic and flexible.
4:-it is highly organized with their active political parties.
Under this system prime minister works with his ministers most effectivelly as it has majority.prime minister is the shining moon among the stars,he is the steering whell of the chair,he is the foundation stone of the cabinet arch..so any law can b passed but in presidential form of govt there is always sepeartion of powers.the president can never pass any law as he wants.further prime minister has many functions such as,
1:-as cabinet chief
2:-as leader of the house
3:-as a national leader
4:-link between queen and cabinet
5duct of foreign affairs
on the other hand,
1: President may becum an autocrat,be coz of his cumbersome procedure of impeachment,he may convince the ministers to work according to his whims and caprice as they are only responsible to him
2:-in a presidential form, there is always lack of harmony.
3: Neither president nor his minister initiate legslation, which are necessary.
4:-it is nt flexible and elastic as garner said:,,,people can not change the govt even when they want to.
That is why parliamentary form of government is the best form of govt which is only responsilble to the govt.
Which works for the greatest goods of the greatest number,
now as the installment of real parlimentary form in paksitan,it need the supermacy of parliament, not president,he is only a titular, real rule of law, liberty, equality, fraternity, social justice, all these are the essence of parliamentary form of govt.
the world belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
any kind of feed back is welcumed. shahzad amir
