GDP stands for Gross Domestic Product, it is the total amount (in terms of money) of final goods and services produced in a particular country during a particular fiscal year. It excludes remmitances.

@spiritless conquest

GNP is Gross National Product, the total amount of money earned by the production of final goods and services produced in the country + the amount of money earned by the nationals of the country working abroad. And that's why, GNP includes remmitances.
