So, please do comprehensive study of this area. Don't go for traditional way: dividing the current affairs paper into organizations, pak events, intl events etc. Rather try to be having "global" thinking and broader view of each problem. I would recommend the following material.

1. Dawn Newspaper ( correctly suggested by Anaya Shah: Go through front page, back page, international pages and editorial/opinion pages. never miss yellow pages on mondays)

2. Worldtimes magazine (Monthly) (though only 5-6 good articles, but it gives ample information about css, questions techniques etc.)

3. Current Affairs Digest (Monthly) by Safdar Mehmood (Just study relevant research reports. You may post names of all reports here and seek guidance from members)

4. Strategic Studies Journal (Quarterly) (again: just read relevant material. it does include v v good reports)

5. Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) Journal (Quarterly) (Again: just read relevant material. Dr. Noor's reports are worthy to be eaten and drunk in whole )

I know it is a lot but see it will help in each and every question of CSS.

I have provided the links to the websites however it is better that you purchase its copies. You may get them from Mr. Books in Jinnah Super or Saeed Books in Super in Islamabad.
Great ... brother can you please highlight important topics for 2013 for Current affairs ,,, though it is too early yet keeping vigilant eye on the topics will ensure our grip ...
