Hi members,

I'm going through a bunch of books for English preparation and would like some guidance from seniors members/CSPs to kindly suggest me the best books for preparation of both English papers that cover every aspect of beginner/advanced Grammar along with precise and comprehension.

I've been surfing through some of the threads and the books that were mostly mentioned there were being,

1. Exploring the World of English by Saadat Ali Shah
2. High School English Grammar and Composition by Wren and Martin
3. Intermediate English by Raymond Murphy
4. Oxford English Grammar Course by Micheal Swan
5. English Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy
6. Practical English Grammar by Thomson and Martinet

So seniors! What do you think are the best books to study in the mentioned lot that can hopefully wrap every facet of English preparation (Grammar and Precise)? Referring to all of them at once will be time consuming and I don't have much time at my disposal.

Any response from qualifiers will be immensely appreciated!

If i were you i would select the book by Raymond Murphy. It is easy to comprehend and practice. However , all these books are very good and quite famous among css aspirants.

What about High School English Grammar and Composition by Wren and Martin? Because it seems to me that it's the most discussed and talked about book regarding learning English Grammar.
