A lot members view post but no one replies to posts. it's humble request to seniors and other members to give their valuable suggestions/replies in order to make this forum a useful platform for aspirants.

Gone are the days when seniors used to help junior aspirants. I have little bit confusion regarding subject selection. I requested seniors couple of times to help me in this regards but none bothered to reply.
We,again, earnestly request all the seniors and csps to guide us. There might be some aspirants who can't afford to join academies so, your valuable guidance can be immensely helpful for those.

Ma'am, first of all thank you for referring my post to sir naveed bhutto. He has indeed replied and guided me.
As far as new grouping of subjects and modification of syllabus is concerned, I partially agree with you that seniors are also not very much confident regarding subject combination and scoring trends, yet, I believe, they are in a better position to guide us regarding subjects in which they have expertise due to years of study and research on that particular subject for example guidance about US history can still be sought from sir naveed bhutto despite bit modification in syllabus and new grouping of subjects.
Therefore, I requested venerable senior members to guide us. We will be very thankful for their precious advice and guidance.

Ma'am, i needed expert opinion/guidance on selction between us histry and indo pak hstry.
With the other opti0nals, specially I.R and I. Law, as menti0nd in my first post.
Css has become a new game altogether, so older posts didn't serve the purpose in this context, though i tried my best to find answer of my query but in vain.
I had tried to decide between those two subjects for a month or so, but could not.
Finally, i gathered courage to ask the opion of sir naveed bhutto and other seniors.
I beg you pardon if I have done anything wrong.

You haven't done anything wrong. Naveed is available so he has done his best to satisfy your queries. But most of the time this doesn't happened. What if abc member needs to have an expert opinion about sociology or journalism or psychology? Experts do not stay online all the time. In that case one must explore the "optional subjects" and "subject analysis" sections. Advanced Search feature serves efficiently in this regard.

Sadly, gone are the days when CSPs and dedicated members used to keep coming back to offer their help. New members do not believe in sharing. They do not share notes and tips. They post FAQs and leave. They have adopted the habit of "thanking in advance". What to expect from them.

Well , if u have keen interest in history subjects then go for it as far as exam is concerned u need to pick the subject according to ur own qualified subject in bachelor's and masters.

Addressed to all aspirants. Try to opt subjects, who suit your attitude and aptitudes, my personal opinions against the myth of marks scoring subjects. Afterwards one should have to go through the course contents published by FPSC. Then they have to endeavour for those contents at their own(mean to say read materials, now adays web surfing quite an approachable option, prefer books where ever you can. Plainly, we as a whole have adopted the strategies of ready-made materials and short cuts. That’s why the one who go through that procedure should not be able to help others, once got selected. Take care of your goals without adopting prejudiced behaviours. Lastly, be sincere to your fellows and society at large and try to serve Pakistan.
