Salam to all members

i am starting this thread in which i/you ll take a word and write its meaning synonyms and antonmys
and also try to use them in sentence

this will help us in ENglish Precise paper as well

ferocious
fierce and violent

Sentence
a ferocious dog
a ferocious battle
She's got a ferocious (= very bad) temper.
The president came in for some ferocious criticism


Synonyms
1)atrocity
These people are guilty of acts of great atrocity (= cruelty).

2)barbaric
She found the idea of killing animals for pleasure barbaric

3)cruel
Don't tease him about his weight - it's cruel

4)vicious
The police said that this was one of the most vicious attacks they'd ever seen.

nebulous
Meaning: Unclear and lacking form
Sentence:She has a few nebulous ideas about what she might like to do in the future, but nothing definite.


Synonyms
1)Ambiguous
His reply to my question was somewhat ambiguous

2)hazy
hazy memories of childhood.
She only hazily (= unclearly) remembered her last visit twenty years ago


3)imprecise
The figures are imprecise because they're based on a prediction of next year's sales.

4)indefinite
The project has been postponed for an indefinite period.


5)indeterminate
An indeterminate number of workers have already been exposed to the danger.

6)Indistinct

I do have a vague memory of meeting her many years ago.

Sentence:After weeks of frenetic activity, the job was finally finished.

1)delirious (unable to think or speak clearly because of fever, excitement or mental confusion)
