Thumbs down Time management is a key to success!

hi !
In ref to Watto sbs query:

This is not a conclusive approach buddy. However, there are chances of being passed if one has done well in the Pre'cis, Comprehension and expansion part of the paper coz it holds 65 marks in total whereas the other part including vocabularly n correction holds only 35 marks. The better the solution of both parts, the greater the chances of passing the paper.
Good luck!

solve the previous paper's compositions . while doiing the preci section pin point the main ideas of the paragraph. pick up any grammer book, n give a keen reading to the pair of words n other grammatical portion.or just go through the previous paper's word lists.there is a dawn word list on forum. go through it too. its usefull. try to make out the connection between the words and the meanings.GRE word list is worth trying too. i never prepared the composition section. its all what u do in exam , just need a bit of concentration.

Thumbs down Do follow ms. Javairia

Its no prob. u welcum.

Wot i want to shar with u has already been shared by ms Javiria. But one thing I would like to add that is the regular writing practice resulting into confidence galore which matters the most in the examination. At least one precis/comprehension + 1 expansion on daily basis will enhance ur confidence level.
Wish u good luck!

Dear Faisal: Report writing and letter writing are two different things.
Report writing is a comprehensive exercise comprising problem (Subject matter) definition, setting hypothesis /research questions, research methodology (Sample selections, data collection tools etc.), analysis of collected data, data interpretation, drawing conclusions and suggestions, footnotes, bibliography etc. This a rough structure of report writing.

Whereas letter writing is a very simple and short exercise which consists of Sender's address and title, date, receivers title and address, subject, salutation, introduction, body, ending paragraph, and courtesy close. Letter formats and language vary with respect to subject matter and the relation between sender and receiver.

Dear Faisal Ahmed: Actually, I do not have any report handy at this time. All I have to do is to type myself, which demands considerable time. At this juncture its is hardly possible for me to work on it. I will try my level best to jot down necessary steps to explain report writing which ranges from minimum 7 steps to as high as 21 steps.

Like letter writing reports are of different types.
