they should be enough..... but who knows.... Its better not to worry alot about vocabulary. Focus on reading good stuff it would automatically improve your vocabulary and it would definitely help you in you Precise and Composition objective part. But remember one thing it is only 10 marks, does it worth the effort????

People do memorize words, antonyms and synonyms from GRE but I personally recommend you to focus on other parts of Paper-II because chances are very low that whatever you have memorized will be repeated in exam. if you invest the same time in some other area of this paper you can get it score more.

I would suggest you not to learn or memorize words this way. This will take a lot of time and still there will be risk whether these words come in exam or not. for vocabulary building my suggestion is that to read dawn regularly and find out meaning of difficult words in articles, and move on. Words repeat in articles, and after 2, 3 repetitions those words will be learnt by you not just memorized. So, they will be helpful. I used to read dawn epaper and in parallel I used a dictionary site, so as the difficult word comes I see its meaning from dictionary site and proceed. In this way that much time will not be consumed, and with time and regular readings of dawn you your self will feel increase in your vocabulary. Also reading dawn will help you in many other ways like in current affairs, in building writing style and developing critical thinking about a topic, also in IR if you are option it. Thats all

Yes,In competitions like this, one mark can make a huge difference.
But you see, here reward is very less as compared to the effort.

Sir Mazhar,a renowned css tutor, told us not to waste our time on learning vocabulary particularlt for 10 marks. You never know what kind of words they will give. For example :in 2006/2007(sorry i don't remember the exact year)the examiner gave such alien words that the people who memorized half dictionary could not get them.
If you want to improve your vocabulary generally,it is a very good thing and it will help you in papers, one way or the other.
But as far as English paper is concerned,One must pay attention to other 90 marks.

Regards.
