Just A Simple Tip Regarding Synonyms.
In order to guess the right meaning of the word, you must have some sort of common sense together with Grammatical one for judging the right synonym.
Just for instance, I came across a word with 4 probable synonyms.
The word was " Aberrant" and the options were,
i. Pick up
ii. Abnormal
iii. Accept
iv. Collect
If you have a look at the word " Aberrant", you'll easily realize that the word doesn't look like a verb, neither it looks like an adverb nor like a noun.
It pretty much looks like an Adjective. And among the given 4 options, there is just one adjective which is Abnormal. While the remaining 3 options are Verbs.
Hence, one can easily judge or guess the synonym of the word.
Therefore, you have to study the Parts Of Speech for this purpose which are hardly 8.
