from where to start preparation for English paper 2 mean can anyone guide that what material or fro where should i collect to start

high school english grammar by wren and martin and exploring the world of english by syed saadat hussien shah are the two good books for english composition. purchase them and start preparation.

I have both of them.Do I need to cover each and everything written in these book?Please tell me how to learn idioms (source+method)?

I think u must read these books thoroughly...
I hv studied the High School Eng by wren & martin, i find it very useful...
Every book which u think that might be helpful, must read at least... i.e, even of Intermediate & matriculation level...
It wl take less time to revise them & u learn the idioms, pair of words etc. in a less time.

yeah shehla is right. wren and martin's book is the best. you must read this book completely with more focus on its grammar part and idioms. from exploring the world of english, you should read idioms, pair of words and vocabulary. also its part on narration and active and passive voice.

Grammer: Seniors have mentioned the names.
Idioms: Collins or cambrige idioms dictionary.
GRE words: Barron GRE words source has been mentioned in Noor ul ain's, topper of 2008, post.
Parir of words: Exploring the world of english page: 45-106
practice sentence correction and Direct indirect also from exploring the world of english.
