Default How to deal with quotational and abstract topics?

I need some good pieces of advice for writing the paragraph(expansion). its fine with me writing on any topic.i don't even find the essay paper that worrisome..but these (provocative:@)quotational or abstract topics when they give in composition paper,i find these topics difficult to cover,.just don't get to know what to write and what not to.i was told that we have to give a scholarly touch to such topics and beautify them with quotations(which i never remember). so how to deal with such quotational or abstract topics ?
THANKU!

Read out such expansions from standard books as many as you can. By going through extensive literary expansions your language and ideas will be polished. Such writing and thinking style will automatically be developed in your personality.

try reading burtrand russel and the essays of francis bacon. Also start with any good book available from various publishers in the market on essay subjects. start with the expansion from those...you will find many a pieces of the puzzle falling into place....The only way forward is practice...once you have expanded a piece, go to a teacher for corrections the first two or three times....thereafter you should have a fair idea of how to go about it and proceed on your own.
Remember,
Practice makes a man perfect. so keep on practising till you feel confident enough to be able to tackle the trciky topics that defy you now.
regards.

Default academies n subjects

before opting for any optionals, look at your past academic background and your strengths. Sociology, journalism, forestry, languages, histories and laws are taken by most who have no background in them.
Technical subjects like maths, physics, sciences and philosophy, psychology are taken usually by only those who have some background to it.

As to academies for CSS, you did not mention your city so cannot tell u any specific one. Any academy would serve you good as they guide you on subject selection as per the facilities availabe with them for teaching and you get to meet other candidates for the exam.

the real issue is how determined and willing are you to put in the time effort and energy to get to your goal.

regards

u're really an angel of mercy for me:P ..... hey is that true for lulla?
so expnasion is about such examples han? !! roger that !

i wrote on "Each man is the architect of his own destiny" but didn't have ample apt examples appertaining to the topic , so just gave it a go as an attempt. I initially elaborated the topic, followed by an example of my own bat that if a man spends his money and resources carelessly and doesnot save it for rainy days, then it is apparent that he is making his destiny unfavourable for himself(:S) then i mentioned that the german leader, hitler, saw a woeful end to his life.and it was beacuse of his policies of aggression and suppression,he thereby made his destiny woeful by constructing in that manner--- "AS U SOW ,SO SHALL U REAP"

were these examples fine??? Am very naive as far as biography..koi pakistan ka bhi banda aisa hota to yaad rehta ..ANYWAY,CUTTING THE CRAP,i am very thankful to u for u're beneficial post,it really has made up my mind..(somewhat)
