Right! But you better rephrase that particular sentence involving 'Rahmatal lil aalameen' because its meaning sound confusing. Note the correct spellings of 'Rahmatal lil aalameen'

The phrase 'hard done by' doesn't seem suitable here. Its meaning is: 'to feel that you have been treated unfairly'. I think its better you rephrase this sentence.

Thanks. :) I am waiting for next one.

Dear, Usman Khalid.

The very two sentences are interconnected.

The one who aims high, gets destined heaven. It seems as if life has choosen them in order to examine what they can do .

The subjects should be either in singular or plural.

First sentences carries singular subject and 2nd one plural. So, it creates confusion.

Speech is the gift of all, but thought of few

Barring people who are deaf and dumb, human beings have been blessed with the gift of speech. But while almost every body talks; few people take the trouble of thinking. Talking comes naturally to human beings but thinking requires mental exertion. Every body gifted with reason, but very few persons make use of this faculty. Man is a rational animal, but all man do not benefit by the rational faculty. Thinking is indeed, foreign to most people. The result is that words are spoken, decision is taken, and action is performed by people without any pervious thinking. The want of thinking in most such cases leads to unpleasant and even disastrous consequences. If an individual says or does something thoughtlessly, he may pay heavily for it.

If a politician makes a speech without giving due thought to what he says, he may cause a tumult, an agitation, and even a riot. Politicians are indeed the worst sinners in this respect. They have the gift of the gab but little capacity for thinking. They often blurt out words without realizing the implications of what they are saying. They are reckless in speech they are copious in speech; they are glib-tongued: but they are deficient in thinking power.

If a mob is excited or inflamed, it will not pause to think. It will merely shout slogans and make a lot of noise. Cool thinking is essential part of a wise man’s mental equipment. Indeed, a wise man speaks less and thinks more. And whatever he speaks is the result of his thinking. But wise men are in minority in this world. The world is inhabited largely by talkative people who consider thinking to be hard thing and who, therefore, prefer talking to thinking …

Life is an integral part of one’s luck. “The harder I work the more luck I seem to have.” This quote depicts that luck or destiny is not something static,It keeps on changing with one’s strives. If we have a glance in the history, then it will be crystal clear to us that only those people names are written with golden words ,who had always sticked to their constant strives and only those were able to pull the winds on their sides.Quaid-e-Azam ,who strived for his nation and was with them through every thick and thin, which resulted in the freedom of a separate nation as Pakistan.
Mughal Empire, which lasted for more than thousand years was the result of many deligent emperors.Thomas Elva Edison, who lighted the whole world with his noble invention, did not sat idle but instead it was his true faith and contented toil which made him to be a navigator who had been able to pull the winds at the ablest side.

If we come along the true path of islam,it gives the complete code of life which is based not on fallible and limited human intellect but on the guidance of the omnipotent. These codes of conduct break in the political, social, economical matters concerning man. His public and personal life ,which could be proved as the greatest benefactor for human race. Religion has made them fully stable.
Lets say, The religion Islam has left behind the HOLY QURAN, as a true sense of guidance, in which every aspect of human lives has been elaborated. If we come along with religion with full determination,so it has and is the greatest benefactor of human race.

We have witnessed changes through the course of history ;evolution and revolution. The most abrupt ,bloodiest changes were revolutions.people were massacred ,fired ,bombed in Iranian revolution like wise in the Age of Renaissance.we have also observed the most recent Islamic revolution in Muslim countries that underwent cold blooded murders and genocides .These violent attitudes have been sprung because every action has a reaction.

The Tyrants have their self -interests and lust ;that governed their attitudes and direct them to gain by whatever means ,right or wrong .so their ambitions direct them to oppress people .some of the people knee down to what ever they ask and demand .but a few people rise against these cruelities. These lead towards a conflict leading a society towards chaos.

In general , bending never give fruit because its ultimate ending is violence.so societies ,families and clan are in conflict with each other . These conflicts result in violence .

Cut Your Coat according to your Cloth''

Contentment is an Islamic junction prescribed to Muslim Ummah for multi-purpose benifits .This implies that one should have to remain in between the limits of profligacy and hoarding.when a person keeps his expenditure according to his income ,he remains satisfied .The materialism provokes among masses lust to buy above then their purchasing power .This situation has caused lending on the basis of interest , that in turn has created in-debted society. That's why Islam has taught us moderation ,the key element spending a prosperous life.

The rule of moderation is applicable in all the institutions of government; family, politics, economy and religion. It forbids extremes in a particular system. And it also applies to the individual of society.one should have closer ties with neighbours but never give away secrets to them .

Hazrat Ali (R.A) had taught to his subjects that one should restrained between these two extremes . He ( R.A) remained contented through out his life and never aimed to get more and more wealth or power . Infact ,greed ,lust are theirselves evils but lead towards other sins like murder ,forcination and devastation of community .That's why ambition is considered a moral sin.

"The Tragical History of Dr.Faustus'', by Christopher Marlowe lights on this paricular theme. The hero of that play had wanted unlimited power and wealth and stood against Might .And negated the power of Might and made fun of Holy scriptures .In the end ,he had to face disappointment which hindered him to ask for forgiveness. And the state of hopelessness destined hell for him .

"Till swollen with the cunning of self- conceit,
His waxen wings could not mount above his reach,
And melting heavens conspired his over throw.
"
The theme of greed ,ambition and lust have lessons for us .These characters in man creates hoplessness and extremes. And man becomes insane for his ambition. He tries to get all the things by wrong means .so contentment is blessing in guise which creates humane attitude in man.

Are you sure? Isn't it an adverb? In my opinion, 'no more' should be followed by some other word. 'No more' means 'no longer'. Now 'life becomes no more' doesn't making much sense. It may be like: 'Life becomes no more attractive'

'There hope dwells' is right but 'There dwells hope' is a better expression. Follow the link below to observe the use of this expression .

(Meaning is not clear) But prolonged (Don't use commas unnecessarily after 'But') inhumane attitude and brutality originate sense of deprivation. This phenomenal act of tolerance first leads towards bending in order to rise against oppression. So the bough that bends most often breaks. (Take care of tenses. In present indefinite tense, third person takes s/es after verb)

We have witnessed changes through the course of history ;evolution and revolution. The most abrupt ,bloodiest changes were revolutions. People were massacred ,fired ,bombed in Iranian revolution like wise in the Age of Renaissance. We have also observed the most recent Islamic revolution in Muslim countries that underwent cold blooded murders and genocides .These violent attitudes have been sprung because every action has a reaction.

The Tyrants have their self -interests and lust that govern their attitudes and direct them to gain by whatever means, right or wrong. (Don't use different tenses for same idea. If 'direct' is in present, 'govern' should be used instead of 'governed') So their ambitions direct them to oppress people. Some of the people knee down to what ever they ask and demand. But a few people rise against these cruelties. These lead towards a conflict leading a society towards chaos.

In general , bending never gives fruit because its ultimate ending is violence. So societies ,families and clan are in conflict with each other . These conflicts result in violence .
Good work :)
Cut Your Coat according to your Cloth''

Contentment is an Islamic junction prescribed to Muslim Ummah for multi-purpose benifits .This implies that one should remain in between the limits of profligacy and hoarding. ('Should have to' is not a correct expression/tense) when a person keeps his expenditure according to his income ,he remains satisfied .The materialism provokes among masses lust to buy above than their purchasing power .This situation has caused lending on the basis of interest , that in turn has created in-debted society.

Hazrat Ali (R.A) taught to his subjects that one should be restrained between these two extremes . He ( R.A) remained contented throughout his life and never aimed to get more and more wealth or power . Infact greed and lust are themselves evils but lead towards other sins like murder , fornication and devastation of community .That's why ambition is considered a moral sin.

"The Tragical History of Dr.Faustus'', by Christopher Marlowe lights on this paricular theme. The hero of that play wanted unlimited power and wealth and stood against Might. He negated the power of Might and made fun of Holy scriptures .In the end ,he had to face disappointment which hindered him to ask for forgiveness. And the state of hopelessness destined hell for him .

"Till swollen with the cunning of self- conceit,
His waxen wings could not mount above his reach,
And melting heavens conspired his over throw.
"
The theme of greed ,ambition and lust have lessons for us .These characters in man creates hopelessness and extremes. Man becomes insane for his ambition. He tries to get all the things by wrong means .So contentment is blessing in guise which creates humane attitude in man.
Some Suggestions:

Use past indefinite tense to describe/mention past events.
Take care of spellings.
Don't use 'And' frequently in beginning of a new sentence. You may either combine the next sentence with previous one and thus converting two sentences into one sentence or make a separate second sentence by using 'Also' in place of 'And'.
For example, here are two lines from your expansion:

These characters in man creates hopelessness and extremes. And man becomes insane for his ambition.

You can write it in one sentence as:
These characters in man creates hopelessness and extremes and man becomes insane for his ambition.

Or you can write it in two sentences as:
These characters in man creates hopelessness and extremes. Also man becomes insane for his ambition.

Hope you get my point.

Overall very well written. :)
Try avoiding repeated mistakes of grammar/tenses/sentence structure.

thanx a lot dear usman brother for explainig it in detail.

Why we have to use past indefinite instead of past perfect ? Any rule? Because it indicates long time ago past where past perfect is used.

You have explain how we can join these two clauses . I got it . You can point out types of these clauses ? Or we can put them in to the box of independant and sub-ordinate clause.

Othet mistakes are acknowledged !

Man is architect of his own fortune

many of us believe that everything is predetermined in life and nothing can ever change it.But its not so, man is the masterpiece created by Allah, Allah SWT has bestowed man with various capabilities, he as given the power of reasoning, he is enabled to design and groom his own fate. its he himself who chooses that what he wants in his life.
those who wait for change to occur itself without putting any effort will never be exalted in life and will suffocate to death in dark pit of woe and disappointment.but those who work steadfastly will surely be confronted with felicity. it is very obvious that when one adheres to the hard work, determination and devotion, these take him to the throne of success. the larger the effort one comes up with the higher are the chances of his success, as Thomas jefferson said "i am a great believer of luck and i find the harder i work the more i have of it".
so a man can surely turn himself into whatever he wants to be those who are brave and venturesome will definitely succeed while others will suffer with the glumness and compunction of their own choice!!
so it is very true to say that a man's fate is solely in his own hand and it totally depends on him that what and how he wants in his life.

i am not satisfied with this at all :( eventhen m posting it here, members plx check and point out my mistakes!
and can any one plx translate it in english 4 me??

Life is tragedy to those who feel and comedy to those who think

This statement makes a point that those who are courageous and those who use their intelligence well always try their level best to overcome problems of their life and they eventually make their life a happy life and those who don't have courage make their life a hell.

Life is a mixture of happiness and sorrows and every person's life contain some problems. There is not a single person in this world whose life either contains sorrow or happiness.Although some person's life contain more sorrows and some have more happiness, yet God has given equal mind to all persons. It depends upon person whether he wants to fight with his problems or not.

There are many persons in this world who lived a miserable life in their early ages. They had all sorts of problems. But they were courageous and determine. They had courage to solve their problems.Einstein,Bill Gates, Edison and Stephen Hawking are the prime examples of those persons who changes their lives through their courage, determination and talent. They had the courage to fight with their problems. That courage helped them to use their talent brilliantly.

Lives of revolutionary persons gave us a lesson that through courage and determination person can change his life.He can made his life happy and prosperous or he can make his life full of sorrows, griefs and miseries.

Those who don't fight with problems of life ultimately make their life a tragedy. And those who fight make their life a comedy because

Frankly speaking, I myself don't exactly know the meaning of this proverb!

Dr saad Sunday, August 05, 2012 11:20 PM

Ok, so this is my very first piece of writing..

''A great deal of talent is lost for the want of a little courage''

Unnecessary criticism ,restrictions and demoralization suppress the potential and ambition of a person.while,a little encouragement and motivation nurtures the mind and soul; it braces one to over come the odds and obstacles of life.hence, providing the perseverance to stand against the adversities of time.
Thomas eddisson is a renowned scientist;an inventor who has more than a thousand inventions to his credit.but,a few people know that in his early life, eddison was a dumb student and a slow learner.his mother gave him the courage and support which eventually transformed him into the most prolific inventor of all times.
Thus, talent is like a plant, which needs proper attention and care.if it is not encouraged, then it might never get a chance to bloom.

"Life is a comedy to those who think; a tragedy to those who feel."

Sir, man is hurt by feelings not by thinking. When one feels life, he feels tragedy. The tragedies of life, like; death, horror, war, terrorism etc. But, one who thinks life, life is comedy for one. One laughs at life. One who knows everything is temporary; enjoys life like a comedy.
in other words.

If one uses mind, world is funny and if one uses heart, world is tragic.

IT IS HARD FOR EMPTY BAG TO STAND UPRIGHT

An empty bag lying in a shelf has no ability to stand upright same is case with human beings, the people having no courage and faith on their skills can never achieve anything in their lives and without knowledge even they can't take stand for their rights. If they are unable to achieve anything in their life just because of lack of their faith, skill and knowledge, they los heart and never bother to improve themselves. Contrary to this people having proper knowledge, faith on their skills and tremendous courage don't find anything in the world which they can't achieve. Due to their knowledge they also possess the ability to stand for their rights and fight for it if neccessary.
A man like Quaid e Azam whose "bag" was full of courage, knowledge, wisdom , faith on his abilities and Allah and devotion took stand for the rights of his nation. He presented his point of view in front of british with the great valour and stood firmly on his stance and finally got the seperate homeland for the Muslims of India. It was his faith on his skills and knowlege which gave him tremandous courage to fight for the rights of Muslims of India and also the Muslims of India had faith on his abilities that he was the man of valour and courage, can fights for our rights. This support kept the Quaid e Azam upright against any hardship and hindrance in his way to success.
The knowledge, courage and a lot of struggle is main thing which takes a person closer to the success. The lossers or lazy persons just want to spend a luxury life and pay no heed to struggle and this attitude takes them to the failure in every step of life. This maxim is still applicable to human life as it was many years ago. Empty bags are never welcomed in the society.
