General Elections and social media
Seniors and members, plz comment and evaluate!!!
In the wake of the next general elections, all the politicians are set either to launch or have launched their usual practices of winning over peoples to their sides-some in the conventional political gathering with ‘Rotti Shotti programme’ while some others have initiated mobilizing and awaking common masses especially the educated youth through social networking websites i.e. Facebook. It is a welcome notion as the great chunk of the educated class use Facebook. This should be extended to Youtube,Twitter, nimbuzz,Skype and other social media sites of the kind. Moreover social media networking will not go a big deal unless and untill the country is befreed from the clutches of Feudalism-"Khanism","Chaudrism","Baradrism" and "Wadarism. As bad luck would have it, most of the common masses are uneducated and poor, they can be easily befooled by hollow slogans or purchased by ‘lifafa politics’. To the utmost expectations of the people, Imran Khan has jumped into the ground with a hope of change, opening his manifesto on Facebook etc.PPPP, PML (N) and others are imitating him. His talks about some curbing some menaces viz corruption, horse-trading, floor-crossing and assets confirmation are good but are not suffice. The basic problem of the people and the country is not corruption but bad-governance. As we know that corruption-of capital also prevails in the developed countries but they are on a fair road to advancement. It is corruption of bad-governance that leads to destruction. The unavailability of the basic requirements to the underprivileged speaks volumes of their deplorable conditions. How can they think about education and social media if they are hungry, bare-headed, bare-footed and empty pocketed? A wholesome change can only come if there is rule and equality of law, sustainability, cheefness and ensurance of justice and availability of basic facilities. Development does not come overnight merely through social media or distributing laptops. It is hidden in the welfare of the majority of down-trodden class of the society. |

It's good effort brother.
But, you put undue criticism on governmental policies and stuff. In addition, your focus also deviated in second paragraph from the original topic. You added your own suggestions before giving vividly on main topic.
