Only the wisest and stupidest of men never change
It is said that life is lived on principles. Some people follow principles in life strictly. Others change themselves according to their milieu. This macrocosm universe has diversification in it. People, all over the world, have made their rules in life. They try to adhere to these principles. But change is the law of nature. Only change is permanent. Everyone has to change or adjust himself. Perception of a child is different from an elderly man. A child learns from his past experience. Curiosity is innate in a child. If a learned person warns him from doing something harmful, he still does it. Similarly as the aging progress, people increase their knowledge and develop communication skills. A mature person at the age of forty is a very different personality from his early teens. But some persons are intransigent. They believe that they are doing the right thing . They face dire consequences of what they believe in. But they do not take a step back. Smoking and drinking are injurious to health. They make the life span shorter. People still smoke and drink. It can be said that they are stupid. Some people firmly believe in what they do. They sacrifice their life for attaining their goals. The scientific progress of world is the result of efforts made by those people. The progress of human civilization also becomes possible because of their sticking to their beliefs. Everyone does whatever he believes in. if he believes in changing according to circumstances he changes himself. Otherwise, he lives his life on his principles.

i am trying to present a balanced opinion considering both sides. the people who have changed the world because of their grit are wisest and the people who are harming themselves and others because of their decision and adhere to these decisions are stupidest. i think i made my point clear.
