EXPANSION : The impossible is often the untried


Through out the course of history whenever man had earnestly desired to go beyond the limits, explore new avenues and exhibit great assiduity ,nothing had been able to contain him not even the most impossible of things. Perhaps, this trait of great man has always distinguished them from the rest of the strata. As most man never, whole-heartedly, endeavor to achieve their goals and when they fail, they throw cold water on the intentions of other people by telling them that it is out of human bounds. On the other hand, some people remain persistent and diligent in their pursuits, resultantly they are rewarded with glory. Nelson Mandela rightly said:
“It always seems impossible until it’s done”.
There are plenty of examples: After failing for more than a hundred times, It was Addison who remained defiant in the face of ordeals which led to the invention of light bulb; If Michael Jordan had given up on his basket ball career just because he was not fit for his high school team then the whole world would have never known him as a great player.
Today, almost everything around us, from compact gadgets to Wi-Fi and from hybrid cars to space shuttles, all these great inventions are the product of exploration beyond impossibilities. It is this reason why Napoleon said:
“Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools”
It can be said with certainty that nothing is impossible in this world and the only limit that restricts man is the limit he assigns for himself. Unless one tries to achieve something, everything remains unachievable.
