Assalam O Alaikum,
what is the meaning of "on the sidelines of"?
Reference of usage is: Pakistan and India look to lowering tensions when their prime ministers meet in the Russian city of Ufa on Friday on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit. (Dawn newspaper 10 July, 2015)
Plz elaborate it in Urdu as well.

It means not get involved or not participate and observing rather than taking part.
If you are on the sidelines or do something from the sidelines, you are not actively involved in something:
