Post Do answer if u can?////

Hi aspirants and Asslamualaikum.
I hope things are well..
Any one of u who can answer these Questions..

1) As for as my knowledge is concerned, Adverb is a word that modifies or adds the meaning of a verb, adjective and another adverb( And in some books it can also modify pronoun)...
But can it modify the noun as an adjective does... how like i will make it clear from this example:
We are surely teachers..
In the above statment :surely" is an adverb and teacher is a noun. And there is nothing in b/w them.
Isn't it modifying the same noun......
If it does then why don't we write in the definition of an adverb that it can modify the noun?
Very strange..
Another example is :
I m not a student....
"Not" has gotten its grammatical position as an adverb..
And "student" is a noun....
??????????????????????????????????????

2) When we define a sentence " A group of words which has subject and predicate and gives clear and complete sense..
And predicate is " The part of sentece that is except subject" or " After subject the remaining part of sentence is called predicate..
or " predicate tells us the action of subject"........
And predicate can only come in the sentences of actions or tenses.
If some one shows the status/property of a man then predicate can never be used...
And when we define "complement"
" complement is a word which shows the nature of subject and object...
Ex: He is healthy. Here healthy is adjectival complement...
It is very much clear from the above discussion that complement can never come in tenses instead in the property or status of someone...
But according to some books ....

Ex: Jogging makes him healthy..
In the above statment "make" is a verb and " healthy is and adjective...
It is a tense but without predicate and with complement....

Ellaborate it if some one knows????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????

3) Collective noun:
We define it in a way that the combination of a group of people things and etc...

like suppose " people,Herd of sheep, Jury and etc...
??? Why do we use "are" plural noun with "people" and singular noun"is was" with jury...
Ex: People are going to watch a match...
and
Jury was correct in their decision...

?????????????????????????????????????? Answer/.....

4)We are having approximately 8 beforms and more helping verbs..

What is the difference b/w the Beforms" and Helping verbs...???????????????

Please do reply if some one knows...
More Questions some other time......
Take care and bye..
