2nd form of the verb is used.....Rite?????cos 3rd form of 'go' is 'gone' not 'went'....?

Well I have tried to find some good reason for it over the internet but unfortunately could not find one. All I can say is that I have been reading in many texts and listening as well, the thing is same as I have mentioned, they do not use "that" or "to" etc and use the 2nd form of the verb. Exceptions do exist but they are only in spoken or in informal texts like novels or comics etc where they may or may not use "that" or "to" etc

However try to google the query ("high time" english usage)
and go through the first few results I hope you'll get the idea

I have made an attempt in answering some of the questions posed in the "reported speech" exercise. However, I earnestly welcome any corrections and comments concerning my answers.

1. He told her to switch off the TV.

yes dear u r 100 percent right. some narration r incomplete. Dear infact, I got these reported speech from website. I agree with u.
