salam seniors,
while doing precie, is it so that we r required to discuss the things which the author has discussed in respective order? i mean the things discussed first in passage should find their place first in our precis?

Dear Sana,

this is fact that we have to pick the frst point at the first so that the sequence of the sentences n scenario should not be disturbed...

more over u have to follow the rules for attempting preci..

It is not necessary to follow the same flow or order while doing precis. You may jot down the ideas in they way you think is most appropriate for narration. However, don't include any of your own idea or thought. Everything you discuss should be with reference to the author's point of view.
